Self-Catering Accommodation at The Cowshed is provided in a selection of beautifully decorated farm style buildings, each individually styled and bursting with nostalgia.

The Boarding House comprises 8 double rooms which can comfortably accommodate 16 people. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower.  The communal areas include a central farm-style kitchen and stoep, a large open plan lounge with a central fireplace and a beautifully crafted braai/boma area.

The Cowshed has 4 double rooms and can accommodate 8 people. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet and private outdoor shower. Designed around a central living area, The Cowshed is situated next to a dam - the covered verandah is the perfect spot to drink in the scenery and view the abundant birdlife.

The Farm House sleeps 7 guests in 3 double rooms and one single room. Two of the rooms have en- suite bathrooms and two share a further 2 bathrooms which are not en-suite. With an expansive, fully furnished, covered verandah, this house meets all your entertainment and relaxation needs.

The Mountain House is a 9 sleeper thatched house situated on the slopes of the mountain.  With outstanding panoramic views, this double storey house has 4 double bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. There is a fully equipped kitchen, living area with DSTV and a covered stoep with braai area. Wet weather in summer means that either incredible driving skills and/or a 4×4 vehicle are essential to access the Mountain House

The Honeymoon Suite is a luxurious tented suite situated on a teak deck overlooking one of the picturesque dams.  With a magnificent four-poster bed,  a Victorian bath, as well as an outdoor shower and WC, this suite oozes romance. There is also an adjacent tent which includes a kitchen, lounge and dining area.

Game abounds on the farm, with herds of eland, blesbok, zebra and black wildebeest roaming freely.

Where the Highveld ends and the Lowveld begins, it is here that you will find that the air is clear and that the veldt carries its own distinctive perfume. This is where you will find The Cowshed.
