Situated in the Balule Private Game reserve, Mohlabetsi South Nature Reserve, in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park with no fences between Balule and Kruger Park.

The lodge offers self-catering accommodation, including 2 game drives or a game drive and guided bush walk per day with an accredited and fully qualified Ranger.

Situated on the banks of the perennial Mohlabetsi River (meaning sweet waters), accommodation is offered for a maximum of 10 people in 5 thatched, comfortably styled rondavels with en-suite bathrooms.

The self-catering accommodation includes a large, open plan, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a thatched lapa with comfy couches and a separate outdoor dining area with adjacent braai overlooking the seasonal river bed and water-hole. An elevated wooden deck provides tranquil game viewing under the shady trees and the small splash pool provides welcome relief during the hot summer days.

Fully catered rates are also available, where a variety of hearty, home-cooked breakfasts and brunches after the morning safari drive and indulgent dinner meals. Meals can be served under the thatched verandah or outside under the stars.

Experience magical sunsets on evening game drives, when, as dusk falls, a whole new world of nocturnal wildlife will enchant you as it comes to life. The fully serviced Lodge provides an extraordinary adventure for nature lovers.
