Accommodation at Pisane Lodge comprises a selection of self-catering units, hotel rooms, tented chalets and camp sites situated approximately 500m-600m from the beach.

The three 8 sleeper self-catering chalets have a basic kitchen utensils and one air-conditioner per chalet

There is one 4 sleeper chalet with a basic kitchen.

The two sleeper self-catering chalets have air-conditioning and a basic kitchen.

There are 2 hotel rooms (each sleep 2 guests), 3 luxury tents which each sleep 2 people and 2 safari tents which each sleep 4 guests. The tents and rooms are not self-catering but are rented on a bed & breakfast basis (breakfast is approximately R50.00 per person)

The camp site is spacious and suitable for both tents, 4x4 trailers and caravans. The camp site has power points, lighting, water taps, ablutions with hot and cold water and braai facilities.

Pisane Lodge has a restaurant and 2 bars on the premises.  There are also two refreshing swimming pools for keeping cool in the hot summer months.

The beaches on Macaneta are very safe and uncrowded, which makes it an excellent holiday spot for families. Pisane Lodge is an affordable destination where guests can relax and enjoy the pristine beaches, clear skies and warm blue ocean.

No charge for children under 6 years sharing with parents (chalets)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Driving on the beach is not permitted

4x4 Vehicle not necessary but advised. The roads on the island consist mostly of gravel and thick sand.  It is recommended that caravans are towed by a 4x4 vehicle.

Shopping can be done in either Maracuene (3km) or in Maputo (± 35km away).

Launching of boats, jet ski’s & rubber-ducks is allowed on the r beach with a Launching of boats, jet skis and rubber ducks are allowed on the beach or in the river, approximately 5 km from the camp. A Mozambican sea worthy permit is available to purchase at camp.
