Cabana de Floresta, the cabin in the forest, is situated approximately 3.5km north of Ponta Malongane, in the secure and private Wakene Beach Estate.

With unbelievable sea views from its forest hideaway, Cabana de Floresta has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious and tastefully decorated lounge and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed with en-suite bathroom, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. There is a comfortable double sleeper couch in the living room for 2 extra guests.

There is a deck on both sides of the house. The ocean facing deck has a built-in braai and a splash pool – the ideal spot for sundowners and alfresco meals.

The rear deck faces the woods and offers a cool and sheltered spot when the wind picks up over the ocean.

The cozy, quaint cabana is very, very private but within easy reach of many activities including; scuba diving, swimming with dolphins, snorkeling , deep sea fishing, whale watching within season and endless pristine, unpopulated yet safe beaches.

4x4 Vehicle required to access Cabana de Floresta (The roads are over sand and dunes).

The walk to the beach is rather steep, although short.

There are only a few Spaza Shops (called Baracca’s) in the immediate vicinity. These spaza shops do sell beer and a limited amount of other drinks as well.
