Barra 5 comprises 5 amazing self-catering units - right on the beach in Barra, a tropical paradise in Mozambique.

Barra is the popular beach holiday destination in the Inhambane district.  With plantations of coconut palms, turquoise ocean and silky white sands, Barra is the stuff that holiday dreams are made of.

Barra 5 comprises 5 luxury self-catering houses situated a few metres away from the warm waters on Barra Beach. Each unit has air-con, cool concrete flooring, braai facilities (wood or charcoal), DSTV (R30 per day), and a private swimming pool.

Seilvis Unit – 8 sleeper

The spacious unit comprises 4 en-suite bedrooms (8 sleeper) all with air-con and an open plan living area which lead onto the spacious undercover verandah which has a built in braai area and comfortable outdoor seating and dining areas.  The lounge has air con and a sleeper couch for additional guests. The verandah is cooled by soft ocean breezes and ceiling fans. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove and oven, fridge, freezer and microwave.

DSTV can be arranged at an additional cost of R30 per day.

There is a swimming pool in front of the unit and the house is serviced daily by friendly housekeeping staff.

Dorado Unit – 6 sleeper

This cool and compact 3 bedroom unit can accommodate 6 people.  All bedrooms have air-con and there is a sleeper couch in the lounge for an additional guest.

The living areas are open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. The spacious verandah has braai facilities and a private pool, chaise loungers and breaker views.

Marlin House – 14 sleeper

Marlin House is a large 6 bedroom house which can accommodate 14 people, ideal for those large groups of families and friends.

The 6 bedrooms have air con and en-suite bathrooms.  The living area is open plan to the spacious verandah with braai facilities, private pool and those blissful seaviews.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.

Barracuda House and Tuna House – 6 sleeper houses

Barracuda House and Tuna House are 2 double storey houses each with 3 bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs (shared bathroom) and 1 bedroom downstairs with en suite bathroom. All bedrooms have air con.

The upstairs bedroom has a private patio and the verandah downstairs has braai facilities, alfresco dining area and a pool which is shared between the 2 houses.

The living areas comprise of open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, and the downstairs furnished verandah.

A 4x4 vehicle is not required to access Barra 5, making Paradise accessible to everyone!
