Opuwo Country Lodge is situated on a northwest facing hilltop just outside the town of Opuwo in the North Western region of Namibia.
An awe-inspiring 360º view of the surrounding area gives visitors a spectacular vantage point of the surrounding area and is the ideal base from which to explore the Kaokoland.
Opuwo Country Lodge offers luxury and standard accommodation with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, as well as well-appointed camping sites.
All the camping sites have 220v electricity (24 hours), ablution facilities with hot and cold water, barbeque area and wash up facilities.
Deck chairs and umbrellas set the scene for a relaxed day around the pool or a welcome respite from the heat after a hard day's drive. Next to the pool is the bar and restaurant where guests can enjoy ice cold refreshments and mouth-watering meals.
The lodge is within easy reach of Kaoko-Otavi, Epupa Falls and Swartbooisdrift, popular destinations for visitors to the area.

Ruacana Falls Excursion
The Ruacana Falls form part of the Kunene River in Northern Namibia. The waterfall is 120 meters (390 ft.) high and 700 meters (2,300 ft.) wide in full flood. It is among the largest waterfalls in Africa, both by volume and width. The falls can be visited throughout the year. If the water is not enough for the Calueque Dam to open its floodgates, the falls and surrounding scenery still remain a wonderful sight. Bottled water and picnic lunch packs included.
