Manico Camp on Inhaca Island offers accommodation from R350.00 pp sharing a 2 sleeper Cabin. Restaurant and Bar on Site. Communal Kitchen

Manico Camp on Inhaca Island is an enjoyable 3 hour ferry ride from the bustling city of Maputo.

With sprawling white sandy beaches, electric blue waters inside the coral reefs and featuring personalised and friendly service, Manico Camp offers exceptional value whether you are a couple seeking a romantic island holiday, a family wanting to spend fun time with your children or a group looking for a social leisure break on this beautiful Mozambique island

Manico Camp has 7 brick cabins and 13 bush cabins which share a communal kitchen and clean ablutions with hot and cold water. Situated a mere 10m from the high tide water mark, guests wake to the salty tang of the sea breeze in the mornings.

The brick cabins comprise a room with two single beds or a double bed.  The bush cabins are constructed from the local grass and also comprise a room with either a double or twin beds.

The quaint thatched bar and restaurant serves up excellent meals of fresh seafood including crab curry, grilled prawns and crayfish.

The lodge is privileged to have Mangrove Trees protecting the front of the camp which in turn provides a safe and private harbour for boats.  Island hopping to the nearby uninhabited Portuguese Island and a visit to Santa Maria can be arranged and is a great outing to experience

The island is a popular destination for scuba divers, snorkelers and fishermen. Sight-seeing on the island is relatively simple.  The lodge will either arrange a local taxi or a small local boat as your transport.

Whether you marvel at the magnificent splash of stars in the night sky or are touched by the gentle warmth of the sun by day, you’ll find paradise here on Inhaca Island at Manico Camp.
