Accommodation in Pomene at Paradise Beach Lodge from R250.00 per person sharing a Self-Catering Chalet on the Beach. Restaurant and Bar on Site

Paradise Beach Lodge in Pomene is nestled between the sea and the estuary - an unspoiled piece of heaven with a name true to itself.

Come and relax and enjoy this slice of paradise which is situated on the coastline of Mozambique - on the North Bank of Pomene. The idyllic location allows for a rustic, yet luxurious, care-free self-catering holiday in Pomene.

The thatched chalets offer elegance and simplicity. Guests have a choice of 4, 6 or 8 sleeper units which are situated within 30m of the water's edge.

The spacious 4 sleeper units consist of two en-suite bedrooms with large lounge/dining room and kitchen and a lovely under cover patio.

The 8 sleeper units are ideal for large families or groups. They comprise four en-suite bedrooms, a large lounge/dining room and kitchen.

The kitchens are equipped with cutlery, crockery, freezer and gas stoves. Barbeque areas are provided and each lodge has a fully trained staff member to clean, wash and assist with food preparation.

Paradise Beach Lodge is set on the banks of a salt water estuary, with its white beaches and crystal clear water host a magnificent array of fish, dolphins and flocks of flamingos. Shallow and deep water reefs reveal beautiful creatures such as the leatherback turtles, sailfish and manta ray. Most importantly, it is the one of the sites in the world where the near-extinct dugong is found. Situated on the estuary within 100m of the mouth, the best of both worlds is available to you.

Where the dugongs still play and the flamingos stand graceful, you will find a piece of Paradise.

Cleanliness: Excellent

Facilities: Excellent

Overall: Good (need longer generator time, 6pm to 10pm not sufficient)

Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday. You and your husband were really accommodating and extremely friendly. I also want to mention all the management and staff and say a big” thank you” to them too.

We were lucky to have good weather and we all enjoyed our break. I also need to mention our chalets, your attention to detail was very much appreciated. It was clean, and you supplied extras that we were not expecting; liquid soap in the bathrooms, bath towels, comfortable and clean bedding, well equipped kitchen.

The only “fly in the ointment” was the short time you guys had the generators on, but it was not a critical situation, it just felt at times we were in boarding school with a curfewJ
