Deep in the heart of the Magaliesburg Mountains lies a true gem. Thirsty Falls derives its name from the many mountain waterfalls in the cliffs above which occur during Highveld thunderstorms, the waters of which "vanish" into the underground caverns.

Cradled amidst the rugged splendour of the African bush and cliffs as a backdrop, Thirsty Falls offers spectacular views and absolute privacy in a tranquil environment.

Self-catering accommodation is offered in a selection of 3 studio units (Barbet, Weaver and Sunbird), 3 x 1 bedroom houses (Rosemary, Protea and Geranium House), the 2 bedroom Lavender House and for larger groups the 3 bedroom Aloes House.

The 2 sleeper studio units are situated back to back, each with an open plan living area, fully equipped for self-catering with an equipped kitchen, set with queen beds, a full bathroom, gas heater and braai facilities to enjoy on the patio.

Rosemary House offers wonderful views set up on a high position – comfortably accommodating 2 guests in 1 bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom. Facilities include a queen bed, spa bath, living area, a fully equipped kitchen and an open log fireplace complete with braai facilities on the balcony.

Geranium and Protea House offers all the same amenities as Rosemary House, except that Geranium is more private with amazing valley and cliff views, whilst Protea is the largest of the 3 houses set on the highest position. 

The 2 bedroom Lavender House offers 2 bedrooms (1 x Queen and 2 x Twin) with 2 bathrooms. The living area is perfect for self-catering and complete with a log fireplace and braai facilities on the balcony. 

Aloes House comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 en-suite bathrooms, each with a spa bath. The house is fully equipped and offers all the same amenities!

Thirsty Falls has an inviting swimming pool (converted into a natural water pool with a separate wetland area) with an adjoining lapa as well as a guest lounge at the farmhouse with DSTV.

The owners of Thirsty Falls enjoy sharing their farm in its beautiful surrounds, for anyone needing to reconnect with nature and be a part of it.
