Cradle Valley Boutique Guest House is ideally situated on the edge of the Cradle of Humankind, just 45 minutes from Johannesburg. The charming wedding and event establishment also makes as a romantic and relaxed weekend escape – where one can enjoy views over the dam and horse paddocks. 

The country venue is well designed, with a functional layout that includes areas like the sunset veranda, fountain area, practical and unique bar and one of a kind boma. 

The boutique guesthouse offers 23 beautifully styled guestrooms as well as a 9 sleeper family cottage. In addition, a groom’s and bridal suite are available and set apart from the rest of the guesthouse.

Each room comprises en-suite bathrooms, patio’s and private entrances with beautiful views from every window. Tastefully decorated with neutral colours and all the comforts and luxuries for a relaxed country escape, corporate event or wedding ceremonies. 

Gourmet foods are prepared using the finest ingredients. Whilst the gin bar, champagne bar or craft beer and craft cider stand is a much loved favourite.  The Boma has the elements of an artistic fireplace in the centre, surrounded by natural log chairs with leather cushions. 

Additional amenities include housekeeping, complimentary Wi-Fi, DSTV in all rooms and secure parking. Breakfast is included in all rates and is served between 08h00-10h00.

Function and wedding dinners are served in the function hall. Private dinners can be served with prior arrangement. Braai facilities are available by prior arrangement. 

Guests are welcome to unwind at the sparkling swimming pool or in the quiet corners of the garden, while fishing in the dam by the sundeck. A number of cycling routes can be enjoyed within the Cradle of Humankind.
