The perfect conference and group getaway option, which lies just 40 kms north of Pretoria, in De Wagensdrift. The country style, self-catering establishment offers a selection of cottages with on-site game viewing with a range of bird species.

The 21 hectare farm proves as an ideal choice of accommodation for small families, couples and groups who can book the property out on an exclusive basis. Be it a stag party, bachelors or corporate escape. 

The on-site covered lapa boasts numerous fireplaces, stone picnic tables, seating for over 20 guests and a cosy bar with outdoor boma. The swimming pool with sun loungers makes this an ideal venue for summer and winter escapes.  

Accommodation comprises the 10 sleeper Family Bungalow, 3 x 2 Sleeper Executive Bungalows and a 2 Sleeper Standard Bungalow. 

The Family Bungalow is ideally designed for 8 adults and 2 children. The spacious old farmhouse has been internally refurbished and offers a lounge, dining room, large fully equipped kitchen and outside patio. Three bedrooms, with the main bedroom being a king en-suite with bath & shower, the second bedroom a double with own bathroom (bath only), and the last a twin bedroom with en-suite with shower only.

The Farm House is a self-catering unit with all crockery and cutlery provided in the kitchen. This unit is serviced daily and dishwashing liquid and dishcloths are provided for any additional washing up. 

The 3 Executive Bungalows do not provide self-catering facilities, meals can be arranged in advance (the lapa can be used to prepare food on the braai or in the pizza oven) Each cottage is within close proximity to the lapa and can accommodate 2 guests on two three quarter beds or a king size bed, with en-suite shower and bath. In addition, a fireplaces, private patio with views over the bush. 

The old horse stables have recently been refurbished into the 2 Sleeper Suite.  The cottage offers an open plan studio-like bedroom and lounge, with en-suite bathroom featuring a freestanding bath & shower. The rustic stable cottage is secluded and ideal for couples with own lapa, private patio, braai facilities and outdoor counter bar and kitchenette.  There is the option of a fold out couch for children. 

The conference room can accommodate up to 12 guests in which full catering can be provided for corporates as well as intimate wedding events. 

The lodge is host to many successful functions, including birthday parties, engagement celebrations, bachelorette parties and kitchen teas, family reunions and social break-aways.
