Vilanculos Beach Lodge set amongst lush, indigenous tropical gardens, commands stunning views of the Indian Ocean and the Bazaruto Archipelago.

All chalets echo the tranquil colours of the beach and are superbly comfortable and well-appointed with crisp white linen, duvets and cosy woollen throws. All are fitted with separate air conditioning, mosquito nets, shaver plug points, electronic safes, mini-bar fridges and tea & coffee stations.

Frameless, open-plan glass shower booths and interesting vanity features have been included into the design of the interior. All chalets have private WC facilities

Guests have the option of 2 sleeper Deluxe Bungalows with en-suite bathrooms and private balconies (most have seaviews) or the Family Suites which have two en-suite bedrooms, lounge and covered verandah.

All accommodation has air con, complimentary bottled water, Wi-Fi, personal toiletries, hairdryers, tea/coffee facility and bath robes are supplied.

The main building comprises the lounge, reception area, bar, restaurant and kitchen. This welcoming open plan thatched structure invites guests to unwind in the comfort of its uncluttered spaces allowing for a refreshing escape and uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. 

Comfortable seating provides the perfect place to relax indoors and the main bar is equally well-positioned overlooking the lush gardens, palm trees and pool in the distance.

The spectacular infinity pool right on the beach front offers a welcome retreat from the heat of the day. It boasts a gentle sloped beach entry, martini double tiered seats, Jacuzzi jets and bubbles with a stunning water feature. The beach entry accommodates wheel chair access, and is perfect for children, elderly or disabled patrons.

The spacious restaurant offers the choice of dining in doors, or out on the patio. For true outdoor dining, the option of dining under the palm trees or next to the pool is available. Traditional Mozambican, Portuguese and international fare is served and whenever possible fresh, scrumptious seafood remains the recommended plate of the day.

Vilanculos Beach Lodge is also proud to offer a unique opportunity for hosting that private, top level conference. The conference facility can comfortably seat 40 in theatre style and 30 in class room style, in a well-equipped and air conditioned venue.

The express Day Spa provides pamper sessions and ensures that your stay (business or leisure) will be an enjoyable and relaxing one.
