ACCOMMODATION OVERVIEW
Quivertree Forest Rest Camp is situated just outside of Keetmanshoop, Namibia within the peaceful Quivertree Forest. An area surrounded by fantastic rock formations, special quiver trees (which contrary to their name, are not trees but Aloe plants) and special birds including the rose-coloured lovebird.
The relaxed accommodation comprises of 2 guesthouses, a family room, several campsites and the unique experience of staying in an Igloo!
Guest House A comprises one lounge with a mini bar and a fully equipped kitchen, there are 2 double rooms each with 2 single beds and a third double bedroom with a double bed. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning.
Guest House B offers the same facilities however comprises 4 double rooms (4 single beds and 2 double beds) Families can be comfortably accommodated in a family room with 1 double bed and 3 single beds.
The Igloos offer a unique and memorable experience, complete with their own fully equipped kitchen, mini-bar, shower and air-conditioning. There are a total of 7 Igloos. Three Igloo's have one double bed and one single bed and five of the Igloo's have three single beds.
The camping facilities are excellent and offer a beautiful view of the centuries-old quiver trees. The restcamp has a central kitchen that can be used to cook or if you want to enjoy a central campfire in the evening. The elevated observation deck is a beautiful place to look at the stars at night.
There is a pool to cool off in during the hot summer months, and Quivertree Forest Restcamp provides meals on request.
On the farm visitors can explore the ancient and famous Quivertree Forest and the dolerite rock formations of the Giants Playground at their leisure.
