ACCOMMODATION OVERVIEW

Royal Jozini Private Game Reserve is situated in Eswatini (previously called Swaziland) – one of southern Africa’s best kept secrets, and is fast becoming renowned as a popular getaway for those who love being immersed in nature. The reserve is ideally located just 5 hours from Johannesburg and 4 hours from Durban and offers spectacular views of the Lubombo Mountains and Lake Jozini.

The 14,000 hectare reserve is home to a wealth of game, prolific bird life and the opportunity to go “Elephanting”, tiger fishing, on self-driven or pre-booked game drives, boat cruises or to simply relax in the African bushveld with a book in hand, for a much deserved break.

Imvubu Lodge is an ultra-luxurious self-catering bush lodge situated in the lake shore area of Royal Jozini. It epitomises the classic “Out of Africa” experience of luxury bush living. The lodge is serviced daily by a dedicated housekeeper (Daniel) who is available to assist in making your stay as comfortable as possible!

The 8 sleeper home comprises four queen bedrooms, each complete with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a private lounge and deck area. For families travelling with children, there is an additional room with bunk beds for children.

The well designed home comprises a TV lounge and spacious dining area, beautifully fitted and equipped with a fully kitted kitchen with a French gas/electric stove and dishwasher.

This exceptional lodge home features wood, glass and thatch which blends into the surrounding environment and offers wonderful game viewing from the deck. The covered patio, set with outdoor lounging leads to a rim flow swimming pool and pool bar area.

To make the most of this truly unique African bush experience – Imvubu Lodge also has a boma area with braai facilities.

The game is abundant, and includes elephant, buffalo, leopard, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, water buck, kudu, jackal, hyena, crocodile and hippo. One of many memorable outings is game viewing, by boat, on Lake Jozini. Just close your eyes and imagine floating along, sipping sundowners with your soulmate by your side, and an uncut view of Africa at its finest, all along the shoreline.
