Surfari is a luxury backpackers and event venue perched within the picturesque coastal forest above Victoria Bay – a spacious haven which offers serene ocean and forest views. The unique backpackers has a beautiful modern design, ideally situated in the Garden Route, an ideal spot for energetic and tranquil adventurers.

A variety of rooms are available to suit groups, families and solo travellers in a selection of family, twin and mixed dormitory rooms. 

The family room comprises a double bed with a bunk bed to sleep up to 4 guests, complete with state of the art en-suite bathroom with the option of ocean, garden and forest views. 

The double and twin rooms accommodate up to 2 guests sharing with en-suite bathroom and shower.

The mixed dormitory rooms are ideal for seasoned travellers, consisting of multiple bunk beds and an en-suite shared bathroom– a great way to enjoy basic lodging and share stories and friendships from all over the world!

For those who prefer some added comfort – the luxury rooms sleep up to 4 guests with 2 double beds. The rooms are set in a spacious and scenic location, with an en-suite bathroom as well as a private TV with DSTV. 

The communal areas are beautifully furnished and family friendly – set with a pool table, table tennis, self-catering kitchen, braai facilities and lounge with DSTV. Guests also have access to complimentary Wi-Fi.
