Looking for a romantic getaway? Dream Lodge in Magaliesburg is the perfect place - aA tranquil getaway, slightly off the grid and surrounded by beautiful mountains on a picturesque farm. Ideal for those in search of a relaxing weekend away.

The eco-friendly lodge offers 3 unique and charming cottages – Chameleon, Gecko and Agama Cottage.  Three course dinners and health breakfasts are served in the Gecko and Agama Cottage. Chameleon Cottage is self-catering. 

Chameleon Cottage is situated 200 metres from the main farm house and the goat camp, where kids can enjoy scratching the friendly goats and the resident donkey, “Ozzie”. The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms to accommodate up to 5 guests with 1 shared, yet spacious bathroom. As the cottage is solar powered, a small kitchenette with oven, stove and gas fridge is provided. The outdoor braai area overlooks the panoramic farmland ahead.

Agama Cottage is situated on the hilltop with uninterrupted Magaliesberg mountain views. The 2 sleeper cottage, made from stone and thatch is set with wooden floors, an extra length queen size bed and a luxury bath with a view. The cottage oozes romance with an indoor fireplace - 30 candles are set in the walls which illuminate this romantic setting. An outdoor shower allows one the opportunity to make the most of the nature. Dinner and breakfast are delivered and served in the cottage at the time of your choosing.  

Surrounded by Acacia bush is the original 2 sleeper Gecko Cottage – equally as romantic as Agama. Set with an indoor fireplace, candles in the walls, large Victorian bath, outdoor shower and even a fire pit for catered summer braais. An upper deck enhances the experience, for one to enjoy romantic sunsets overlooking the scenic farmland. Dinner and breakfast are delivered and served in the cottage at the time of your choosing. 

Dream Lodge is ideally situated just 20km’s from Magaliesberg town and is host to a number of area activities including game drives and health spas. For the more relaxed at heart, wake up to the sounds of over 200 bird species and take a tranquil walk around the farm – finish off your day by soaking up some sun at the swimming pool, situated by the main farm house.
