Malgas House in Xai Xai is a lovely timber log house situated in the Chongoene Holiday Resort.
Xai Xai is the capital of the Gaza Province in Mozambique and is a bustling town renowned for its long stretches of immaculate beaches, excellent fishing and plump, mouth-watering prawns. A reef running parallel to the beach provides safe bathing and wonderful snorkelling opportunities.
Malgas House is a spacious house which can accommodate 10 people and comprises 4 bedrooms (3 double beds and 4 single beds), 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with loads of workspace, dining room/lounge and spectacular views overlooking the tidal pool and reef from the enormous deck.
The restaurant and bar is situated at the entrance to the resort and offers fresh, affordable local dishes and ice cold beverages.
Guests can enjoy sundowners and braais on the deck as the sun sets spectacularly over the horizon. Visitors staying at Malgas House between July and November will be rewarded with the awesome sight of whales frolicking in the warm ocean waters.

The place was lovely however the house need some improvements when it comes to linen (bedding), the people were friendly and the service also at the restaurant was awesome.
