ACCOMMODATION OVERVIEW

Kgakala Trails Camp is a small and private unfenced bush camp situated on the banks of the Mohave River in Tuli Block, Botswana. Kgakala means ‘remote’ or ‘isolated’ in Setswana – which is the exact feeling one will experience when staying at this untamed, untouched and truly unique bush camp.

Kgakala comprises 6 dome style tents complete with 2 camp stretchers, linen and towels. The communal open-air ablutions are situated within close proximity to the tents. There is no electricity so lighting is provided for by gas, paraffin and solar. Shower water is heated by a donkey boiler and the cookers and a freezer are gas operated.

An outdoor central lapa area with fire-pit creates a truly memorable experience to enjoy with friends and family, where all meals are provided. To add to the enjoyment a guide and game viewer are available for one to explore the area (all activities are included in the rates)

Game such as Elephants, Lion, Leopard, Brown and Spotted Hyaena, Civet, Genet and African Wild Cat may possibly be seen in and around the camp.

A weekend away to enjoy a true wilderness experience at Kgakala Trails Camp should be an adventure one gets to experience atleast once in a lifetime!
